As a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Agent in Warwick, NY , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with flexibility for you to earn more by picking up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $17.50 - $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Saturday 12:00 AM – 07:00 AM (Fixed shift, 6‑month commitment) How This Role Works Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six-month commitment. Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours one week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem‑solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points and observe activity within assigned areas to help deter unauthorized entry, support visitor screening processes, and follow post orders related to patient care areas and restricted spaces. Assist with de‑escalation support, directional assistance, and general public interactions while maintaining awareness of potential hazards and/or policy violations within the location. Minimum Requirements At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
