Job Description As a Security Officer Armed Association Patrol in Palm Beach Gardens, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a residential location, where you will drive through assigned areas, complete routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security‑related incidents. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $27.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day: Mon 06:00 PM - 02:00 AM Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Fri 06:00 PM - 02:00 AM Sat 06:00 PM - 02:00 AM Sun 06:00 PM - 02:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a residential community. Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or local authorities as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property, including common areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity and unusual behavior. Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access when required, and support access control procedures for residents, contractors, deliveries, and guests. Maintain readiness to perform assigned armed post duties in accordance with Allied Universal standards, post orders, and applicable laws, while observing surroundings and reporting security‑related hazards and/or maintenance concerns. Minimum Requirements: Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or a college degree in criminal justice. Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. CPR certification is preferred. Unarmed guard card & Armed card is required. Customer service is preferred. A state, county, and/or city issued security‑related license is preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry‑specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
