Security Officer Unarmed Patrol

Position Details Security Officer Unarmed Patrol – Warwick, NY. Position Type: Part Time. Pay Rate: $17.50 - $18.50 / Hour. Job Schedule: Tue 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM; Sun 12:00 AM – 7:00 AM. What You'll Do Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and reporting activities. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity or identify unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, assist with access control practices, and document observations, incidents, and security-related concerns according to site procedures. Support hospital and clinic operations by providing directions, assisting during emergencies, and communicating with staff and first responders when needed. Minimum Requirements At least 1 year of security-related experience. At least 21 years of age. Preferable comfort using a computer or tablet. Preferred customer service experience. 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles. High school diploma or equivalent. Background investigation required as condition of employment. Criminal history will be considered in accordance with applicable laws. Drug screening required to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment due to state/local regulations. Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
