Neuro RN - Nights

This is a 13-week contract position.

3x12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) with every other weekend and holiday coverage required.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Neuro Registered Nurse to provide care in a fast-paced Neuro ICU setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing critically ill neurological patients and be comfortable with advanced medical equipment and interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with neurological disorders.
• Monitor and assess patients, including vital sign checks and neurological assessments.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Utilize advanced equipment such as ICP monitors, EVDs, and continuous EEG.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain patient safety.
• Float to lower acuity areas as needed within the specialty.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN license in Maryland or Compact State.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required; CPI and NIHSS certifications preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Neuro ICU or equivalent experience.
• First-time travelers with strong skill sets are considered.
