About the Role We’re looking for a curious, high-energy IT professional who sees inefficiencies and immediately starts thinking, "There’s a better way." This is not a sit-behind-a-desk support role. You’ll tackle real-world technology challenges, improve processes, support users, deploy equipment, assist with infrastructure projects, and help drive operational efficiency across our business. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who isn’t afraid to learn something new, dive into unfamiliar technology, and apply creative thinking to solve complex problems. If you enjoy building, troubleshooting, optimizing, and making things work better than they did yesterday, you’ll fit right in. Responsibilities Provide hands-on IT support for employees and company technology in our Houston, TX office Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot laptops, workstations, printers, and mobile devices Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues Install and support network and low-voltage cabling infrastructure Assist with office expansions, technology upgrades, and special projects Maintain IT equipment inventory and documentation Identify process improvements and help implement smarter, more efficient solutions Work independently while collaborating with internal teams and external vendors Qualifications 3+ years of IT support, desktop support, or similar technical experience Required Skills Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Experience with Windows, Microsoft 365, networking fundamentals, and end-user support Experience installing or supporting low-voltage cabling is preferred Ability to work in office and warehouse environments, including ladders or lifts when needed A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn new technologies and take ownership of challenges Valid driver\'s license and reliable transportation Preferred Skills CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications Experience supporting warehouse, transportation, or industrial environments Scissor lift certification or structured cabling experience Pay range and compensation package $29-$35/hr | Full Time + Benefits Equal Opportunity Statement At Meiborg, we don’t just fix problems.
