Registered Nurse NICU

$2007.36/week - Job Summary: Provide specialized nursing care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to critically ill neonates. Deliver compassionate, evidence-based interventions to promote optimal outcomes for newborn patients. Responsibilities: Assess and monitor neonatal patients' condition, vital signs, and response to treatments. Administer medications, look after IVs, and perform necessary procedures in accordance with clinical guidelines. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans. Educate families on neonatal care, discharge instructions, and ongoing health needs. Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, safety standards, and infection control practices. Document all patient interactions, treatments, and observations accurately in electronic health records. Qualifications: Valid RN license with current clinical experience in NICU or neonatal settings. BLS certification required; NRP certification must be in hand at time of submission. Demonstrate proficiency in neonatal clinical assessments and interventions. Strong communication skills to work effectively with families and multidisciplinary teams. Ability to adapt to fast-paced, high-acuity environment and manage multiple priorities. BSN degree preferred.
