The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural woodwork, precision machining, and quality craftsmanship to produce high-end moldings, profiles, and custom millwork components.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up, operate, and adjust a Weinig 6-head molder for production runsRead and interpret shop drawings, profiles, and work ordersSelect, install, and align cutter heads and tooling to meet specificationsMonitor machine performance and product quality throughout productionPerform routine maintenance, blade changes, and troubleshootingInspect finished products for accuracy, finish, and consistencyMaintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with OSHA standardsCollaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules and deadlinesQualifications2+ years of experience preferred but willing to trainStrong understanding of architectural millwork and custom profilesAbility to read blueprints, CAD drawings, and profile templatesKnowledge of cutter head setup, tooling, feed speeds, and material handlingMechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanshipAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periodsPreferred SkillsExperience in high-end architectural or custom millwork shopsFamiliarity with hardwoods, softwoods, and composite materialsPreventative maintenance and troubleshooting experienceBenefitsCompetitive pay based on experienceHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidaysRetirement plan optionsOpportunities for growth and advancement within South Shore Millwork
