Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health status and trauma history, identifying suitable treatment methods.

• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans emphasizing trauma recovery and resilience building.

• Provide therapeutic interventions grounded in evidence-based practices, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a safe environment for clients to discuss their experiences and strategies for coping with trauma.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary professionals to create an integrated care approach, ensuring comprehensive support for all clients.

• Provide timely crisis intervention for clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, utilizing available resources to ensure their safety and well-being.

• Educate clients and families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain strict confidentiality and accurate documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, case consultations, and team meetings focused on trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed about current research and trends in trauma therapy to continually enhance your skill set and client care.

Our practice serves a diverse clientele, primarily focusing on individuals who have experienced trauma. We are especially interested in candidates who are proficient in working with couples, as we provide specialized training for those willing to expand their therapeutic skills in this area. As a member of our team, you will contribute to the healing journey of clients from varied backgrounds, addressing their unique mental health needs with compassion and sensitivity.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LPC in Texas.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to client interactions.

• Proven ability to remain composed in high-stress situations, offering reassurance and support to clients.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, with a focus on trauma-related disorders.

• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions and modalities.

• Strong understanding of resilience-building approaches and trauma-informed practices.

• Ability to effectively handle a full clinical caseload and complete progress notes within 24 hours.

• Strong character traits, including integrity, honesty, and adaptability.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, including guaranteed pay, annual raises and bonus opportunities, paid orientation, and generous paid time off (PTO).

Additional benefits include group health and dental insurance, legal support such as malpractice coverage, a 401k plan with a 3% employer match, CEU reimbursement, and a supportive administrative team to assist with patient scheduling. Flexibility in your schedule is emphasized, with working hours ranging from 7 am to 10 pm, seven days a week.
