Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Reporting in New Castle, DE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon12:00 AM - 08:00 AMTue12:00 AM - 08:00 AMWed12:00 AM - 08:00 AMThur12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and other individuals by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, behavioral health-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions requiring attention.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directing individuals to appropriate locations, and report unauthorized entry attempts or unusual activity to designated personnel.
Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding incidents, patrols, and observed conditions while maintaining a respectful, professional presence in a healthcare environment.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be able to lift more than 20 pounds, preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
