Start Date: 08/08/2026
Duration: Ongoing coverage, over 20 shifts/month
Shift: Mostly single coverage with some overlap; flexible shifts
Hours/Week: Variable, based on shift schedule
Employment Type: Temporary / Locum
License/Certs: Clean NPDB/file required
Experience: Prior emergency medicine experience preferred
Hourly Pay Rate: $150/hour (orientation rate)

What You'll Do
- Provide emergency care at Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital and surrounding facilities
- Manage acute cases with a variety of presentations, roughly 20% admission rate
- Collaborate with APCs and other healthcare professionals for coverage
- Work in a facility that supports outdoor activities and lifestyle
- Cover shifts with potential overlap at smaller critical access hospitals within 30 minutes
- Contribute to a community-based emergency team focused on quality care
What You Need
Required:- Valid medical license and credentials necessary for Wisconsin
- Willingness to provide coverage at regional hospitals
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Emergency medicine experience
- Ability to adapt to flexible shifts and schedules
