Patient Volume/Census: 2 surgical cases per day, 6 new consults per day
Case Mix: Orthopedic trauma, pediatrics, pelvic and acetabular fractures

FACILITY INFORMATION

EMR System: Cerner

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
Credentialing Timeline: 21 days

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Manage pelvic and acetabular fractures
Manage pediatric orthopedic cases

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Active AZ license; Universal License (IMLC) considered
Board: BC or BE in Orthopedic Surgery
DEA: Yes, required
Certifications: BLS
Experience: Minimum 1 year in Orthopedic Surgery

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide 24-hour orthopaedic trauma coverage including call
Manage pelvic and acetabular fractures
Manage pediatric orthopaedic cases
Perform surgical cases (average 2 per day)
Respond to new consults (average 6 per day)
