Job Title: Food Service Kitchen Production Manager Location: Brentwood Union School District Reports To: Food Services Supervisor & Food Service Coordinator Salary: $25.03 - $30.47/hour (6 steps) About The Role We're seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Service Kitchen Production Manager to oversee daily kitchen operations, food preparation, and staff supervision at a school site. This position ensures that all meals meet USDA Child Nutrition standards while maintaining the highest levels of food quality, safety, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Supervise and train food service staff and student workers Plan, prepare, and oversee production of USDA-compliant meals Maintain inventory, ordering, and proper food storage per HACCP standards Ensure kitchen cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation compliance Operate Point of Sale (POS) system and maintain production records Communicate effectively with staff, students, and administrators Qualifications Two years of experience in institutional or commercial food service (school experience preferred) High school diploma or equivalent Knowledge of large-scale food preparation, HACCP, and USDA Child Nutrition programs Food Safety Manager Certification (or ability to obtain by end of probationary period) #J-18808-Ljbffr
