Business Development Representative (Entry-Level Sales)

This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who wants to learn how to sell, prospect, develop a market and build relationships with business leaders.

Bridgeway Partners is hiring a Business Development Representative to join our professional search team. You’ll learn how to create opportunities from cold outreach, understand businesses and their hiring needs, and develop the skills to eventually manage client relationships of your own. No sales experience is required. We care more about ambition, curiosity, coachability and work ethic than a polished résumé.

What You’ll Do

You’ll start by learning the fundamentals of business development:

• Research companies, industries and decision-makers
• Build and organize a sales territory
• Prospect by phone, email and other channels
• Create conversations through cold outreach
• Use CRM, AI and modern sales technology
• Ask better questions and identify business needs
• Handle objections and rejection
• Follow up consistently and build relationships over time

As your skills develop, you’ll begin managing assigned companies and relationships, learning how businesses operate and identifying opportunities before there is necessarily an immediate need. Over time, you’ll gain exposure to discovery, presentation, negotiation, relationship management and consultative selling while participating in increasingly senior-level conversations.

Where Can This Lead?

Our goal is that over your first 18–24 months , you develop the skills required to grow into an Account Executive, Search Consultant or other high-level sales professional. Along the way, you’ll build practical experience in prospecting, business development, executive communication, negotiation, relationship management, consulting, organization, resilience and influence.
