Receiving/Kitting Associate
$19 per hourWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Receiving/Kitter to join our production and warehouse team in Sayville, NY. This position is responsible for receiving and inspecting incoming materials, organizing inventory, and preparing production kits for assembly operation. - Responsibilities include receiving incoming shipments, verifying inventory, organizing materials, preparing kits for assembly teams, and maintaining accurate records.
- The ideal candidate is organized, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and comfortable handling inventory and warehouse tasks.
- Prior warehouse, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
- Daily tasks include verifying shipments against packing slips, labeling and stocking materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring production teams have the necessary components and supplies to meet schedules.
- Candidates should be comfortable lifting materials, using basic computer systems, and working closely with warehouse and production staff.
- Prior experience in shipping/receiving, inventory control, or manufacturing is preferred
