Industrial Ammonia Refrigeration Reliability Technician — Westfield, MA 01085

Core Responsibilities- Execute preventive maintenance routines and detailed inspections across ammonia refrigeration equipment.
- Diagnose system issues, isolate root causes, and complete repairs that last.
- Maintain compliance with all safety regulations and established industry standards.
- Keep accurate logs and records for all maintenance activities and repairs.
- Work cross-functionally to boost efficiency and reliability.
- Respond to emergency calls and perform repairs as required.
- Share your knowledge by training and mentoring junior technicians.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree or refrigeration certification preferred.
- Hands-on experience with ammonia refrigeration systems.
- Comprehensive understanding of HVAC principles and rigorous safety practices.
- Skilled at interpreting technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
- Exceptional troubleshooting ability and attention to detail.
- Strong communicator with a collaborative mindset.
- EPA certification for refrigerants is a plus.
