About the Marion Bloch Neuroscience Institute
The Marion Bloch Neuroscience Institute is a vital part of our organization, focusing on comprehensive neuroscience research, education, and evidence-based medicine. It integrates specialists in neurology, neurosurgery, interventional neuroradiology, neurotology, psychiatry, and physical medicine and rehabilitation. Our legacy of innovation began in 1993 with one of the world's first intra-arterial stroke reversal procedures. Since then, our specialists have continued to lead in developing new stroke treatments, successfully reversing strokes in thousands of patients through our extensive network of stroke centers. The Institute is recognized globally for its use of both pharmacological and mechanical interventions to mitigate the debilitating effects of ischemic stroke.
The Marion Bloch Neuroscience Institute unites highly specialized neuroscientists to deliver comprehensive care for complex neurological conditions, including stroke, epilepsy, brain tumors, Parkinson's and Alzheimer's diseases, multiple sclerosis, headaches, and facial pain, as well as aneurysms, intracerebral hemorrhages, memory disorders, hearing and balance issues, and sleep disorders. Our multidisciplinary team employs the latest minimally invasive spinal surgical techniques to address both acute and chronic back pain, supported by a fellowship-trained neurosurgery team with subspecialties ranging from deep brain stimulation (DBS) surgery to the treatment of skull-based tumors.
