Our Organization

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced BC/BE neurohospitalist to join our dynamic team. Our medical professionals deliver comprehensive neurology services, focusing on neurologic consultations, electromyography, and Botox treatments for chronic migraine relief.

• Participate in a shared call rotation, with a 1 in 2 schedule alongside fellow hospitalists (additional neurologists are available for call support as needed).

• Be on call for 24 hours, covering both inpatient and outpatient clinic needs during the night.

• Call schedule runs from Friday 7 AM to the following Friday 7 AM.

• Utilize Epic as the electronic medical record (EMR) system.

• Manage 10-15 inpatient cases daily.

• Average 1-2 evening calls per week, including outpatient clinic responsibilities.

• Base salary is based on the number of 24-hour shifts completed each year.

• South Overland Park - The newest addition to our network, this 85-bed hospital opened in 2021 and features a birth center, surgical services, ICU, heart care, and more to cater to the growing suburban community.

• Ottawa - A full-service rural community hospital located just 40 minutes south of the Kansas City metro, with over 90 years of dedicated care.

• Lenexa - A unique 25-acre wellness campus set to open in 2025.

Our Shawnee Mission facility, situated in Merriam, Kansas, is a 504-bed acute care hospital serving the Kansas City metro area, particularly Johnson County. Originally established in 1962 as Shawnee Mission Medical Center, it became part of our network in 2002, driven by a mission to provide holistic, faith-based care that addresses physical, emotional, and spiritual health. The hospital has a rich history rooted in community collaboration to meet local healthcare needs.

We offer a wide range of services, including emergency care, cancer treatment, cardiology, neurology, maternity care, bariatric surgery, and behavioral health, supported by over 700 physicians across 50 specialties and more than 3,300 staff members.
