Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to join our team! This role manages staffing needs by recruiting, screening, hiring, and scheduling employees to ensure optimal operational coverage. The staffing coordinator bridges management and staff by overseeing onboarding, maintaining personnel records, and managing shift schedules. Essential skills include strong communication, high organization, and proficiency in scheduling software.


Key Responsibilities:

• Recruitment and Onboarding: Sourcing, interviewing, and hiring candidates, plus managing the onboarding process.
• Scheduling and Coverage: Creating work schedules for departments, ensuring adequate staffing for all shifts, and managing vacation/time-off requests.
• Compliance and Reporting: Adhering to labor laws, maintaining employee records, and generating reports on staffing trends.
• Communication: Acting as the primary point of contact for staffing inquiries, shift changes, and vacancies.
• Retention Support: Assisting with employee engagement, satisfaction surveys, and addressing staff needs to reduce turnover

Requirements:

• Previous administrative, customer service or clerical experience
• Staffing industry experience preferred.
• Competitive and outgoing personality.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Positive, friendly, and upbeat attitude.
• High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
