Tax Senior Associate

Responsibilities Provide federal tax compliance and advisory services to S‑corporations, partnerships, individuals, and corporations ranging from middle‑market to multinational companies. Participate in tax research projects, draft IRS responses, and address other tax authority inquiries. Collaborate with leaders on special projects in corporate and flow‑through taxation, including accounting methods and ASC740. Develop and present client recommendations for tax strategy and decision‑making. Communicate and collaborate with specialty tax practices on complex matters related to state and local taxes, high‑net‑worth, international, research and development, and incentive credits. Engage in direct on‑the‑job coaching and mentoring and participate in firm‑wide learning and development programs. Build and maintain strong internal and client relationships through entrepreneurial networking. Support the growth and development of team members under the BakerTilly Care and Teach philosophy, helping associates meet their professional goals. Qualifications Four‑year degree; license‑eligible CPA, law license, or enrolled agent preferred. Minimum two (2) years of experience providing federal tax compliance and consulting services in a public accounting firm. Strong time‑management, communication, interpersonal, relationship‑building, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills. Demonstrated leadership, project management, organizational, and analytical abilities, with initiative and adaptability. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship of any type. Compensation and Benefits The pay rate for this position ranges from $74,900 to $98,990, depending on skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
