Production Associate

*2nd and 3rd Shift* Lawrence Plastics, a plastics injection molding supplier for the automotive industry is looking for talented production associates/machine operators to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated ability to read and comprehend production instructions and be detail oriented with a result driven approach. If you are looking for a company to learn and grow, this is the position for you! Responsibilities Comply with all Company policies and procedures. Follow operator and packaging instructions for each process. Properly disposition non-conforming parts. (Grind or place in designated container.) Meet or exceed quality and quantity standards, to maximize quality and minimize cost. Label each box or returnable container, as instructed. Verify label on each box or returnable container. Maintain company issued tools and equipment. Participate in and contribute to, problem-solving teams, as requested. Provide input on how to continuously improve our safety, quality, and cost performance. Contribute to good housekeeping practices, e.g. clean, orderly, and safe work area, sweeping floors, etc. All other special projects, as assigned. Requirements Standing or sitting for extended periods of time. Walking short distances occasionally. Working in a space that lacks climate control. Lifting and carrying objects with an estimate maximum weight of 40 lbs. Pushing or Pulling of objects up to 15 lbs. in weight. Gross manipulation skills for picking up, holding, and turning objects. Fine manipulation skills such as touching, picking, and moving, primarily with fingers. Commitment to workplace safety. *Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen* Join Us.
