Direct Counsel is seeking a Real Estate Associate Attorney to join a national law firm in Orange County, California.

Overview

Direct Counsel is recruiting a

mid-level Real Estate Associate Attorney

with

3–4 years of experience

to join a sophisticated and growing Real Estate practice. The ideal candidate will have experience handling a range of commercial real estate transactions, with a focus on

acquisitions and dispositions, real estate development, joint ventures, and private equity transactions

. Experience with

real estate finance and hospitality matters

is a plus. The successful candidate will have strong research and communication skills and the ability to independently manage small-to-mid-sized matters or significant portions of larger transactions. Key Responsibilities

Represent clients in

commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions

.

Advise clients on

real estate development

matters.

Handle

joint venture and private equity

real estate transactions.

Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, development agreements, joint venture agreements, and other real estate documents.

Assist with

real estate financing

transactions and related matters.

Support clients involved in

hospitality and other complex real estate projects

.

Manage small-to-mid-sized matters independently and take responsibility for portions of larger transactions.

Conduct legal research and analysis related to sophisticated real estate matters.

Communicate directly with clients and collaborate with partners and other attorneys to efficiently manage transactions.

Qualifications

3–4 years of commercial real estate experience

.

Experience with

acquisitions and dispositions, real estate development, joint ventures, and/or private equity

.

Familiarity with

real estate financing and hospitality

is a plus.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Excellent legal research and analytical abilities.

Demonstrated ability to manage matters efficiently and effectively.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in a sophisticated transactional practice.

JD from an accredited law school.

Active bar membership required.

Compensation

The anticipated salary range for this role is

$260,000–$310,000

, depending on experience, qualifications, and other factors. Benefits
