Overview Relationship Officer I – Hourly Range: $22.00 - $23.00 Relationship Officer II – Hourly Range: $24.00 - $25.00 Exact compensation may vary based on skill, experience and location. POSITION PURPOSE Relationship Officer I is responsible for fulfilling members' transactional requests and providing consistently great service. The role includes offering optimal financial solutions to help members achieve financial well-being and educating members on self-service options. Relationship Officer II is responsible for fulfilling members' transactional requests and general account maintenance while providing consistently great service. The role includes acting as a professional expert to offer financial solutions, educating members, and promoting self-service options. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES Create positive internal experiences with staff and collaborate with team members to achieve department and organizational goals. Create personalized member experiences and ensure members’ needs are met during each interaction. Accurately process member transaction requests and respond to member questions and inquiries. Proactively address member concerns and complaints, striving to resolve issues positively. Exercise effective cash handling and maintain an individual cash drawer for both roles. Develop knowledge of core products and a wide range of financial solutions to provide personalized recommendations. Educate members on self-service and digital solutions and ensure understanding of available technology. Identify opportunities to retain members and offer solutions addressing barriers or concerns; recommend additional services where appropriate. Educate members and potential members on SAFE benefits and grow membership through conversations about products and services. Develop sales and referral skills to cross-sell products and services based on members’ financial needs and goals. Learn strategies to achieve branch sales, service, and operational objectives. Participate in branch daily operational activities and assist with opening/closing duties and before/after-hours tasks as needed. Maintain awareness of changes in policies, procedures, products, and services. Assist with minor account maintenance and safe deposit access; support other branches as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Education/Certification: High school diploma or GED; and one-year (Officer I) or three years (Officer II) related experience in customer service and/or cash handling; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
