Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF) | Zion, Illinois

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting K-5th grade students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP or CFY) in a resource setting. The assignment runs from August 17, 2026, through May 28, 2027, with new staff training details to be announced prior to the school year. As part of your responsibilities, you will manage a caseload of 25-30 students, collaborating closely with teachers and families to foster each child's progress. Your schedule will follow the school day, Monday through Friday, from 8:25 am to 4:00 pm, totaling 35.5 hours weekly. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Hold (or be eligible for) a valid SLP – Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Previous experience or strong interest in school-based speech-language pathology Understanding of IEP documentation and therapy plan development Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families Enthusiasm for supporting elementary-aged children in a resource setting Primary Responsibilities: Provide direct speech/language therapy to K-5 students Conduct assessments and contribute to eligibility determinations Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Maintain accurate and timely records for each student in your caseload Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and parent conferences as needed Bring your expertise and passion to a school community that values supportive, collaborative professionals.
