Immigration Analyst

We are looking for an Immigration Analyst to join a law firm team in Troy, Michigan in a contract-to-permanent capacity. This position supports employment-based immigration case work by preparing filings, organizing case materials, and keeping matters moving forward on schedule. The role is well suited for someone who is detail-oriented, eager to grow within a legal environment, and comfortable managing information with accuracy and professionalism.Responsibilities:• Prepare immigration applications and petition packages for submission to the appropriate government agencies, ensuring completeness and accuracy.• Gather, organize, and maintain supporting records and evidence so case files remain orderly and audit-ready.• Track case activity and provide timely progress updates to clients, managers, and senior team members.• Enter and maintain client and matter information in the case management system with a high level of precision.• Review and summarize large volumes of information to support reporting needs and internal case handling.• Monitor assigned deadlines, follow up on outstanding items, and escalate concerns or delays to the supervisor as needed.• Develop familiarity with immigration matter types, firm procedures, and client-specific requirements to support effective case execution.• Contribute to team priorities with flexibility, responsiveness, and a willingness to take direction on new assignments.
