Job Overview A law firm seeks a senior tax attorney with eight or more years of experience to join its practice in Walnut Creek, California. The candidate will handle a broad range of federal, state, and local tax matters, with expertise in partnership tax, Subchapter C, and startup tax issues. Duties Advise on qualified small business stock (QSBS) and corporate law. Lead sophisticated tax matters and collaborate with partners and clients. Contribute to the expansion of the firm's tax practice. Support business development efforts. Requirements Eight or more years of tax law experience. Strong familiarity with M&A transactions. California Bar admission required. Distinguished academic background and impeccable references. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Tax LL.M. preferred. Certifications California Bar admission. Skills Strong research, writing, and communication skills. High level of analytical skills. Entrepreneurial and team-oriented mindset. Organized and detail-oriented.
