Territory Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic, high-performing Territory Manager with experience in selling floor-covering experience in distribution, manufacturing, or retail. This position will have the opportunity to manage and grow the Fort Myers, Naples & Miami, Florida territory. This role will work closely with the existing William Bird representatives to grow a profitable market share. The ideal candidate is driven, self-motivating, and has a strong understanding of solution selling approaches. They will integrate closely with internal teams and maximize growth opportunities within the Fort Myers, Naples & Miami territory.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Integrate closely with internal teams and maximize growth opportunities within their assigned territory
• Drive profitable business by selling a variety of floor-covering products across various product categories while supporting some of the finest manufacturing names in the industry
• Have the ability and drive to develop personal relationships and turn those relationships into business results
• Must be responsive to customers' needs by using text, email, and/or phone
• Understand our customer's business, identify potential solutions, and present those solutions with enthusiasm to the point of adoption

Required & Preferred Skills

• Driven and competitive to excel in exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
• Essential to excel in a quota driven environment.
• Self-directed professional with an understanding of a solution sales approach and can develop relationships and partnerships.
• Must possess a solid business acumen with the ability to quickly learn about products, understand our customers' business, and implement effective solutions to drive profitability.
• Excellent communication, organizational and teamwork skills
• Ability to present product offerings in a manner that leads to solution adoption.

Education & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Business, Sales or related field OR
• 3-5 of experience in floor covering sales is preferred.
