Paralegal - General Liability - Insurance Defense

ParalegalThe Paralegal provides critical support to attorneys in all phases of litigation and case management. This role requires strong legal drafting skills, familiarity with court procedures, and the ability to manage a high-volume caseload with precision and professionalism. A Paralegal typically supports two or more attorneys, achieving minimum billable standards.Primary Job Duties:Draft legal memoranda, pleadings, subpoenas, discovery demands and responses, correspondence, and discovery motionsOrganize, chart, and process incoming records and invoicesFollow up on outstanding records via phone, email, and mailPrepare answers and legal correspondenceManage a large caseload while supporting multiple attorneysReview documents for relevance and privilege in preparation for disclosureConduct case law research using Lexis Advance and public access websites to support defense strategiesAssist attorneys in preparing for mediation and trialRetrieve and save documents using the firm's document management systemKey Competencies:Communicating - Legal Professionals provide the information required by others in a concise, direct, and unambiguous way.
