Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Spindle is partnering with a school district to hire a general Education Specialist – Moderate Support Needs (TK–12) for next school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized academic support in resource and inclusive settings across multiple grade levels

• Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure appropriate instructional supports and accommodations

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with IDEA and California Education Code

• Track student progress and adjust instruction to meet individualized academic and behavioral goals

• Participate in IEP meetings, staff collaboration, and professional development

Qualifications:

• California Education Specialist Credential – Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe Support Needs

• Ability to serve students across grade bands as needed

• Strong organizational, collaborative, and instructional skills
