divh2Certified Management Accountant (CMA)/h2pThe Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is responsible for managing financial planning, analysis, budgeting, cost accounting, and internal financial reporting to support strategic business decisions. This role ensures accurate financial data, evaluates operational performance, identifies cost-saving opportunities, and assists leadership with forecasting and financial decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, advanced accounting knowledge, and the ability to translate financial information into actionable business insights./ppResponsibilities and Authority Include But Not Limited To:/pulliPrepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports./liliDevelop, monitor, and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models./liliPerform cost accounting analysis, including standard costing, variance analysis, and profitability reporting./liliSupport strategic planning by providing financial insights and recommendations to management./liliMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide analysis on financial and operational trends./liliReview and reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data./liliAssist with month-end and year-end close processes./liliEvaluate internal controls and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce risk./liliConduct financial analysis related to pricing, labor, overhead, and operational expenses./liliPrepare management reports and presentations for leadership meetings./liliEnsure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable financial regulations./liliCollaborate with department leaders to support cost management and budget accountability./liliAssist with audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to auditor requests./liliSupport capital expenditure planning and return-on-investment (ROI) analysis./liliIdentify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvements, and increased profitability./liliAny other duties assigned by management or development due to business necessity and growth./li/ulpMust Have:/pulliBachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related field required./liliCertified Management Accountant (CMA) designation required, or ability and willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe./lili37+ years of progressive accounting and financial analysis experience preferred./liliStrong knowledge of financial planning and analysis (FPA), budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting./liliProficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling./liliExperience with ERP/accounting software (such as Fishbowl, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar)./liliStrong understanding of GAAP and internal controls./liliExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills./liliStrong verbal and written communication skills./liliAbility to work independently and collaboratively across departments./liliHigh level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail./li/ulpPreferred Qualifications:/pulliExperience in manufacturing, heavy industrial, or operational environments (if applicable)./liliKnowledge of inventory accounting, standard costing, and job costing./liliExperience in preparing executive-level financial reports and presentations./liliCPA designation is a plus but not required./li/ulpGeneral Skills Expected:/pulliStrong organizational skills with excellent time management skills./liliWork effectively in a team environment while being independent and autonomous./liliAbility to maintain and encourage an enthusiastic attitude, excellent initiative, and a strong work ethic for yourself, employees, coworkers, and all employees with whom you come in contact./liliWork with all departments involved to facilitate communication and problem resolution to meet deadlines as needed and required to accomplish corporate goals and objectives./liliStrong team player./li/ul/div
