Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong background in psychosocial assessment, crisis intervention, behavioral health support, discharge planning, and community resource coordination for maternal-infant populations. Knowledge of postpartum mental health, trauma-informed care, social determinants of health, and maternal-infant care coordination. Ability to assess patient needs and prioritize urgent, emergent, and routine psychosocial and discharge planning needs in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, staff, and interdisciplinary teams. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including accurate and timely documentation and reporting. Flexible, resourceful, and able to work independently while maintaining a calm, professional, and patient-centered approach. Proficiency in electronic medical record systems, including Epic. Preferred Licensure and Certifications Active LICSW license in the District of Columbia. Current CPR certification. Perinatal Mental Health Certification required within 12 months of hire. Preferred Experience 2–5 years of experience in psychiatric social work or counseling, with a focus on maternal-child health, behavioral health, crisis intervention, discharge planning, or care coordination. Salary Range: Minimum 37.58/hour - Maximum 61.99/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
