The Field Testing Specialist position will serve as an integral team member of a comprehensive research station providing support for all station operations. The ideal candidate must have knowledge and experience about the agriculture industry and a high aptitude for attention to detail**What You’ll Do:****How will you help us grow? It matters to us, and it matters to you!*** Support the York Research Center operations with multi crop seed filling, seed preparation and data collection.* Skilled in operating planting, harvesting, and spray equipment as well as specialized remote sensing equipment.* Agronomic knowledge of weed control and plot maintenance.* Collect data and assess data quality.* Assist with experiment planning and mapping.* Supervise part-time employee crews to complete field activities according to protocols.* Availability for overtime during peak seasons of planting and harvest.* 100% site dedicated position.**What You Need:*** Bachelor or Associate degree in agriculture or scientific related field plus 2-4 years industry related experience.* Keen knowledge of agronomy, crop production, plant development, and experimental field plot design.* Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.* Demonstrate excellent communication/personal interaction skills to foster teamwork, enhance a positive work environment, and effectively develop strong internal and external working relationships with a diverse group of people.* Experience and skills with computers and data management.* Experience operating planting and harvest equipment including electronics, GPS systems and data collection systems.* Demonstrate skills in leadership, operational safety, supervision, and time management.* Must be capable of working in varying ergonomic and environmental conditions for extended periods of time.* Ability to obtain appropriate pesticide applicator license/certification.* Valid drivers license required**\*\* Please note there is no relocation or visa sponsorship available for this position.****Benefits – How We’ll Support You:*** Numerous development opportunities offered to build your skills* Be part of a company with a higher purpose and contribute to making the world a better place* Health benefits for you and your family on your first day of employment* Four weeks of paid time off and two weeks of well-being pay per year, plus paid holidays* Excellent parental leave which includes a minimum of 16 weeks for mother and father* Future planning with our competitive retirement savings plan and tuition reimbursement program* Learn more about our total rewards package here - Corteva Benefits* Check out life at Corteva! you a good match?
