Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Perform basic patient assessments and general care, including wound care, tracheostomy, ostomy, drains, chest tubes, strokes, and seizures.
• Manage patients requiring dialysis or PCA pumps, with Heparin being the only drip.
• Assist with post-op procedures, including amputations, ostomy, drains, chest tubes, oral surgeries, and wound vacs.

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Valid BLS and NIHSS certifications
• Proficiency with Meditech documentation system
• Experience with patient care equipment like PD Cyclers, Welch Allyn VS Carts, Hoyer Lift, Broda Chairs, Alaris IV Pumps
