Sous Chef

SOUS CHEF | Miami Florida

An established hospitality group is seeking an experienced Sous Chef for a prominent South Florida restaurant operation. This position calls for a chef who has worked at meaningful scale, understands disciplined kitchen execution, and can lead confidently through demanding services.

The Sous Chef will work closely with senior culinary leadership and play an important role in maintaining consistency, organization, and accountability throughout the kitchen.

What You Will Do

• Support culinary leadership in overseeing daily kitchen operations and service execution.
• Lead BOH teams through high-volume services while maintaining quality and consistency.
• Manage prep, production, station readiness, and organization across the kitchen.
• Train, coach, and supervise culinary team members.
• Maintain established standards for recipes, portions, presentation, sanitation, and food safety.
• Assist with purchasing, inventory, food cost, waste, and labor controls.
• Identify service or production issues quickly and provide clear direction to the team.
• Maintain strong communication between culinary leadership and the broader restaurant operation.

What We Are Looking For

• 6-8 years of experience at the Sous Chef level in established restaurant operations.
• Experience with Mediterranean cuisine.
• Bilingual Spanish/English required.
• Substantial high-volume restaurant experience.
• Experience working within financially significant restaurant operations.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen systems, production, inventory, food cost, and labor management.
• Confident, hands-on kitchen leader who can maintain standards under pressure.
• Stable employment history and verifiable professional references.
• Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment screening.

Compensation & Details

• Salary: $80,000-$90,000 annually
