Job Opportunity: Locum - Physician - Radiation Oncology

This facility is equipped with advanced technology and a supportive team, including registered nurses, radiation therapists, medical physicists, and dosimetrists. The clinic seeks to fill this position due to provider resignation, offering a perfect opportunity for a dedicated physician.

• Oversee patient treatments and ensure adherence to standard protocols.
• Conduct new consults and follow-up appointments for existing patients.
• Participate in tumor conferences and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Plan and execute treatment plans, including SBRT, IMRT, 3D, and SRS procedures.
• Perform status checks on treatment effectiveness and patient progress.
• Collaborate with a support staff of 1 RN, 4 Radiation Therapists, 2 Medical Physicists, and 3 Dosimetrists.

• Active Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Radiation Oncology.
• Completion of residency or fellowship in a related field.
• A clean background and malpractice history are mandatory for eligibility.

• Kentucky Medical License (Required).
• DEA Certification (Required by start date, can also work on a prescription plan if not issued).
• ACLS and BLS certifications are preferred, with BLS needed by start date.
• PALS and NRP certifications are nice to have.
