Director, Renal Denervation (RDN) Health Economics, Policy & Reimbursement Director (HEPR)

Director-level role leading renal denervation health economics, policy, and reimbursement strategy at Medtronic. The position develops U.S. and global market access plans, manages payer negotiations, and drives evidence generation to secure sustainable coverage and payment for RDN therapies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated U.S. and global market access strategies aligned with business priorities
• Lead Medicare reimbursement pathway strategy, including coverage determinations and add-on payment management
• Collaborate with payer engagement and field teams to expand and protect RDN payer coverage
• Define clinical and economic evidence needs and partner with HEOR to generate supportive studies
• Partner with international HEPR colleagues to execute comprehensive global market access strategies for priority markets

Requirements

• Extensive experience in healthcare reimbursement, market access, or payer strategy
• Proven leadership of cross-functional teams in matrixed organizational environments
• Deep knowledge of U.S. Medicare coverage and payment processes (NCD, NTAP, TPT)
• Strong understanding of health economics, health technology assessment, and evidence generation
• Demonstrated executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with interventional cardiology, structural heart, or similar medical device commercial landscapes
