Role Summary Advanced Analytics – Retail is responsible for secure access, extraction, and transcription of data analytics from retail sources to support business and brand strategies. The role partners closely with commercial teams to ensure alignment to strategic initiatives and delivers clean, governed datasets enabling strategic opportunities to drive Hill’s growth and profitability. Key Responsibilities Serve as the subject‑matter expert for retail data ingestion and transcription. Operate within a clean‑room environment to secure data access. Query and transcribe raw retail data to produce clean, governed datasets for strategic analysis. Develop and implement automated processes for data extraction, cleaning, and transcription to reduce manual effort. Maintain strict data governance and security protocols specific to clean‑room operations and compliance requirements. Collaborate with commercial teams to ensure transcribed data meets modeling and analytical requirements. Support automation and scalability of clean‑room and retail data workflows for self‑service analytics. Provide accurate and timely ad‑hoc data sets and analysis focused on the retail channel. Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in secure data handling, data engineering, or transcription within a regulated environment. Proven experience working within a "clean room" or secure data enclave. Expertise in SQL and programming languages such as R or Python for advanced querying and data pipeline development. Ability to decompose complex data transformation problems into actionable data solutions that drive business growth. Preferred Qualifications Proficiency with cloud‑based data storage and processing platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS). Experience with retail data providers (e.g., IDEXX or similar). 4+ years in business analytics. Experience in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) or animal health industry. Familiarity with data governance policies and PII compliance best practices. Compensation and Benefits Salary Range: $109,600.00 – $155,000.00 USD Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit‑sharing, and long‑term incentives for executive‑level roles. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching. Also provided are a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays. Paid sick leave may vary by role and location. Work Arrangement Hybrid work environment. No relocation assistance is offered. Travel: up to 10% of time. Location: Overland Park, Kansas, United States.
