Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg or Telemetry nursing experience required
• ACLS BLS , and NIHSS required
• Strong neuro and cardiac assessment skills
• Experience working in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Ability to float to other medical-surgical units and ICU overflow as needed
• Comfortable with night shift scheduling

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients on a telemetry-capable medical-surgical unit
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Perform comprehensive assessments, medication administration, and care coordination
• Work closely with the interdisciplinary care team to support safe, efficient patient flow
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record
• Support patients with a variety of medical and surgical diagnoses
• Adapt quickly to float assignments within the facility as needed
