Job Description Purpose of the role Liquid Finance Platform covers a variety of roles and is central to the delivery of best-in-class products and services, and for the provision of strategic client and risk solutions across the full spectrum of the Prime Financing businesses. Accountabilities Working with clients to optimise the Liquid Financing relationship Provide best-in-class service and escalation oversight Primary contact for Liquid Financing clients in areas such as trading, risk, billing and reporting Provide expertise on industry and regulatory initiatives Subject matter expert for our clients, with a deep understanding of each client’s business mix, operational requirements and product sensitivities Vice President Expectations To contribute or set strategy, drive requirements and make recommendations for change. Plan resources, budgets, and policies; manage and maintain policies/ processes; deliver continuous improvements and escalate breaches of policies/procedures.. If managing a team, they define jobs and responsibilities, planning for the department’s future needs and operations, counselling employees on performance and contributing to employee pay decisions/changes. They may also lead a number of specialists to influence the operations of a department, in alignment with strategic as well as tactical priorities, while balancing short and long term goals and ensuring that budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements.. Join Barclays as VP, Prime Services Transition Management, where you will guide clients through a seamless journey from mandate to full integration on the Barclays Prime platform, ensuring a high-quality onboarding experience across products, markets, and entities. Operating at the intersection of client engagement and internal coordination, you’ll serve as the central point of contact for all pre-launch activity—partnering closely with Sales, Legal, Credit, KYC, Operations, and other key teams to align requirements and deliver a smooth transition. Your work will blend product translation, stakeholder coordination, and structured project execution to help clients activate trading capabilities efficiently while ensuring the platform is configured for long term success. To be successful in your role as a VP, Prime Services Transition Management, you should have: Experience in a client‑facing role within financial services; prior experience in Transition Management is not required but beneficial Deep working knowledge of the Hedge Fund and Asset Manager landscape, with emphasis on clearing, settlement, and financing across products and strategies Solid working knowledge of Cash Equities, Bonds, Repo, and Equity Synthetics Willingness to lead improvements, enhance processes, and strengthen end‑to‑end workflows, supported by a consistent history of delivering quality outcomes Experience managing senior relationships at institutional clients and guiding the client experience from start to finish Other highly valued skills include: Knowledge of Exchange Traded Derivatives, OTC Clearing and FXPB is preferred Series 7, 63 is helpful but not required Thoughtful and detail‑oriented, with the ability to work comfortably and confidently in a self‑directed way while contributing within a team environment and possesses effective people‑centered communication skills Excellent verbal and written skills with ability to multi-task, prioritize and excel in organizational management Works well in a team environment and has effective high‑quality relationship‑building skills to liaise both internally and externally You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in this role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills. This role is located in New York, NY. Minimum Salary: $150,000,00 Maximum Salary: $225,000.00 The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
