As a Principal Radar Systems Engineer, you will participate in challenging multi-disciplinary work consisting of: Radar DevelopmentRequirements Development, Functional Allocation, MaintenanceModeling Simulation, and AnalysisIntegration & Test of Radar Hardware and SoftwareFlight Tests and Performance AnalysisRadar System Sell-OffQualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experienceExperience in radar or RF systemsExperience as a Systems Engineer including two or more of the following: requirements, design; specification development, modeling, simulation, or performance analysis; HW/ SW integration and test and verificationExperience in a technical leadership positionQualifications We PreferAdvanced Degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or related STEM degreeExperience with radar design, modeling/simulation, hardware/software integration, test and verification Course work or experience in some of the following fields: radar, signal & image processing, radar and/or EO/IR environment models, digital communications, probability and statistics, linear algebra, estimation theory, optimal control, system architectureExperience applying object-oriented software design in C++, C, and using MATLAB or Python for evaluation of data sets Experience working on a team and by yourself, interfacing with multiple engineering disciplines and developing and presenting technical briefings Ability to make data-driven decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with time-critical requirements and competing priorities.Strong technical writing, oral presentation, and interpersonal skills.Experience using UNIX/Linux based workstations and using Software Configuration Management tools EVMS experienceExperience with Agile principles and methodologiesExperience with Jira and ConfluenceSAFe Product Owner certification or related industry certificationExperience developing proposals (i.e., developing TINA compliant Basis of Estimates)Learn More & Apply NowPlease ensure the role type defined below is appropriate for your needs before applying to this role. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
