Veterinary Receptionist

Fleur Pet Hospital is a locally owned, full-service veterinary clinic dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care for pets and peace of mind for their families. We're looking for a friendly, dependable Receptionist to join our front desk team. Fleur Pet Hospital is your trusted veterinarian providing wellness exams, emergency care, microchipping, vaccinations, dental care, and more for cats, dogs, rabbits, pocket pets, avians, and pot-bellied pigs in Des Moines, Indianola, Norwalk, Runnells, Altoona, Carlisle, Urbandale, and West Des Moines. Located in the heart of Des Moines, we've been serving local families and their pets for decades. We're proud of our friendly atmosphere, high medical standards, and genuine connection with our community. Every member of our team plays a role in making our hospital a place clients and pets love to visit. What Youll Do Welcome clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage client communications Process payments, maintain accurate records, and assist with billing inquiries Ensure the lobby and reception area are clean, welcoming, and organized Order and record inventory of prescription diets Support the veterinary team with client follow-ups and daily administrative tasks What Were Looking For Experience in veterinary reception Strong communication and multitasking skills Comfort working with computers, phone systems, and scheduling software Ability to stay calm and helpful during busy times A love for animals and a desire to support their care What We Offer 401k Employee discounts on veterinary services Opportunities to learn and grow within the veterinary field Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 7:30 - 5:30 Wednesday 8 - 12 every 3rd week Required Skills: DES Resume Emergency Payments Records Scheduling Software Teamwork Communication #J-18808-Ljbffr
