VP, GTM Strategy & Systems

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a VP, GTM Strategy & Systems based in United States. This is a senior executive leadership role responsible for building and scaling an AI-native go-to-market operating system for a growing enterprise SaaS organization. Reporting directly to the CEO, the role partners closely with the CRO, CMO, and CFO to translate growth strategy into scalable systems, data, workflows, and AI-enabled processes. The scope spans GTM Operations & Analytics, GTM Engineering, and GTM Applications. You will establish the data foundation, governance, architecture, and operating cadence needed to support efficient growth and better decision-making. The role combines executive strategy with hands-on building, organizational leadership, and cross-functional influence. You will also help define how AI and automation can expand organizational capacity without requiring headcount to grow at the same pace as revenue. Accountabilities: - Own the end-to-end GTM operating system across GTM Operations & Analytics, GTM Engineering, and GTM Applications, ensuring people, processes, data, and technology operate as an integrated system. - Lead revenue, marketing, and partner operations across pipeline management, forecasting, territory and quota planning, deal desk, renewals, services, funnel operations, lead routing, attribution, partner pipeline, and GTM performance reporting. - Build and continuously evolve the GTM architecture, including process design, operating cadence, web and GTM infrastructure, and the AI and agent layer supporting the organization.

- Own the GTM technology ecosystem, including Salesforce, CPQ, marketing automation, integrations, APIs, MCP surfaces, permissions, and governance, ensuring systems work together rather than functioning as disconnected tools. - Partner with AI and Engineering teams to identify, prioritize, and deploy high-impact AI agents, workflow automation, and other use cases across the revenue funnel. - Build and lead the GTM Systems organization, including teams and pillar leads across architecture and engineering, applications, operations, and analytics, while establishing clear accountability and governance. - Establish a strong GTM data foundation through shared definitions, clean and reliable data, trusted reporting, and a consistent operating rhythm for pipeline reviews, forecasting, and business reviews. - Drive measurable improvements in GTM efficiency by using AI, automation, and improved systems to increase organizational capacity without scaling headcount in lockstep with revenue. - Work across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Services, Partnerships, Product, Engineering, Finance, and executive leadership to establish alignment, drive adoption, and make clear decisions about ownership and priorities. Requirements: - 12+ years of experience across go-to-market functions within enterprise SaaS, including experience supporting hypergrowth, business transformation, and the development of disciplined operating models. - Proven experience building and owning GTM systems, data architecture, and operating infrastructure rather than simply consuming reports or managing inherited processes. - Hands-on experience applying AI and automation in a GTM environment, including deploying agents or automated workflows and understanding governance, permissions, auditability, and data quality requirements. - Deep expertise in modern GTM technology, particularly Salesforce and its broader ecosystem, as well as pipeline management, forecasting, revenue operations, and GTM analytics. - Demonstrated experience building teams and operating capabilities from the ground up, including diagnosing organizational gaps, defining architecture, and making thoughtful hiring and investment decisions.
