This role involves working in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for the assembly and production of advanced CNG fuel storage systems and tanks. You will work with specialized equipment and tools to ensure quality standards and delivery timelines are met.

MUST HAVE MACHINE OPERATOR EXPERIENCE

Responsibilities

• Accurately interpret and prepare detailed work instructions and procedures.
• Use assembly tools, fixtures, and specialized equipment proficiently.
• Demonstrate knowledge of mechanical assembly processes and best practices.
• Assist with filament winding operations, including resin application and tool maintenance.
• Support rotomolding processes through material preparation and boss recovery tasks.
• Perform tank labeling and foam dome installation with precision and care.
• Assemble and package products to meet or exceed quality standards.
• Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items.
• Clean and lubricate equipment.
• Load and provide raw materials, such as resin and paxon.
• Support filament winding tasks such as resin squeezing, tool cleaning, and setting up floor mats.
• Dispose of all scrap resin, fiber, and cardboards.
• Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards.
• Work at different stations including Rotomold Operator, Trailer Assembler, Tube Bending, and Adapter, Volumetric, EOL Domes/Labels.

Essential Skills

• Mechanically inclined with experience in machine operation.
• 1.5+ years of machine operating or production/manufacturing experience.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Ability to interpret visual instruction sheets or blueprints.
• Experience with materials such as resin, epoxy, composite, Kevlar, pre-preg, fiberglass, and carbon fiber.
• Capability to lift 50 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with a torque wrench is a plus.
• Familiarity with visual instruction sheets or routers is advantageous but not mandatory.

Work Environment

• The work environment is a very clean, large manufacturing facility with multiple machines running.
• It is not overly industrial, providing a comfortable atmosphere.
• The role involves working 1st shift, Monday to Friday from 6am-2:30 pm, with potential overtime starting at 5:00am.
• Overtime is mandatory and may result in 12-hour days, including Saturdays. Steel-toed boots are required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lake Forest, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
