Environmental Specialist III

Job Description ProSidian seeks an Environmental Specialist III (Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, & Environmental Programs) to support clients such as the FBI and other government agencies. The role is based in Washington, DC, Clarksburg, WV, Quantico, VA or other nationwide field offices and is hybrid (on/off client site). The primary responsibility is to provide senior environmental program leadership, compliance oversight, and strategic execution to protect people, operations, and mission performance. Job Overview This position aligns with GSA Labor Category: Environmental Specialist Level II and focuses on environmental services solutions for federal law enforcement and government clients. Responsibilities Lead environmental programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and strategic execution. Develop and oversee occupational safety, industrial hygiene, and environmental programs. Provide data‑driven analysis and reporting to support decision‑making. Coordinate stakeholder engagement and maintain professional, discrete communication. Maintain and renew Top‑Secret security clearance as required. Continuously assess and improve environmental practices, including energy and water efficiency strategies and LEED compliance. Qualifications • Education – BS or MS. • 5–10 years of relevant experience in environmental compliance, occupational safety, or industrial hygiene. • Familiarity with energy and water efficiency strategies, LEED rating system, environmental compliance, and federal reporting. • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint) and Power BI. Skills and Competencies Leadership and decision‑making. Professionalism and discretion in emotionally charged situations. Communication across multiple channels (verbal, telephone, e‑mail, in‑person). Ability to adapt to changing program requirements and new technologies. Top‑Secret security clearance required and must be maintained. Technical writing, proofreading, data entry, and management skills. Additional Requirements Proficiency with business tools such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, data analytics tools, and Visio.
