Social Media Manager

The Social Media Specialist is responsible for executing and optimizing social media campaigns that promote the studio's film, television, and digital content. This role collaborates with cross‑functional teams including Creative, Publicity, Talent Relations, Production, and Marketing to develop engaging content that grows audiences, increases brand awareness, and supports business objectives. The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller, highly organized, and passionate about entertainment and digital culture. Key Responsibilities Manage day‑to‑day publishing across the studio's social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, YouTube, Threads, and LinkedIn. Develop, write, and schedule engaging social content that aligns with campaign objectives and company voice. Create social‑first content including graphics, short‑form video, GIFs, behind‑the‑scenes features, and promotional assets. Coordinate content calendars to support film releases, television premieres, streaming launches, festivals, and corporate initiatives. Monitor social channels, engage with audiences, and identify opportunities for community growth and conversation. Track emerging social media trends, platform updates, and entertainment conversations to recommend timely content opportunities. Support influencer partnerships and creator campaigns by coordinating deliverables and monitoring performance. Ensure all published content meets studio brand standards, legal requirements, and platform best practices. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Film, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience preferred. 2–5 years of professional social media experience, preferably within entertainment, or media streaming. Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their best practices. Experience creating content for short‑form video platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Excellent copywriting, editing, and communication skills. Proficiency with social media management platforms Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment. Flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends for live events, premieres, and productions. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with film, television, or streaming content. Knowledge of influencer marketing and creator partnerships. Photography and basic video editing skills. Understanding of paid social media campaigns and audience targeting. Passion for entertainment, pop culture, and emerging digital trends.
