Local Contract Cardiac Telemetry RN - $41-48 per hour

Job Summary Medical Solutions is hiring a local contract RN Telemetry nurse in Salisbury, North Carolina. The assignment lasts 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on a 12‑hour night shift. Employment is local contract. Responsibilities Provide telemetry nursing care for cardiac and stroke unit patients. Manage up to six patients per shift, maintaining 1:5‑6 ratios. Perform IV starts and administer cardiac drips such as Cardizem, Dopamine, and Amiodarone. Assist in admissions, discharges, and unit orientation. Operate telemetry equipment, pulse oximetry, and high‑flow oxygen devices. Apply non‑rebreather masks and BiPAP as indicated, following unit protocols for COVID patients. Participate in self‑scheduling with leadership oversight and communicate availability. Collaborate with a team lead to support rapid patient turnover. Qualifications Registered Nurse with at least two years of experience in a high‑acuity unit. Current ACLS, BCLS, and NIH certifications. Comfortable handling up to six telemetry patients; familiarity with ratios and acuity. Valid North Carolina RN license. Must pass EKG testing prior to assignment start. First‑time travelers are accepted; locals are also welcome. Schedule & Availability 12‑hour night shifts; on weekend nights every other week. Contract length flexible between 13 and 26 weeks. Self‑scheduling with oversight from leadership. Float coverage required; RTO allowed up to seven days for ADA Auto Offer. Black‐out dates: 05/23‑05/26/2025 (Memorial Day), 06/19/2025 (Juneteenth), and 04/18‑04/20/2025 (Easter).
