Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Manage all phases of commercial litigation, from investigation, pleadings, and discovery to pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal processes.
2. Conduct extensive legal research and analysis on various complex legal issues.
3. Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, opinions, and other legal documents.
4. Represent clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
5. Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in a manner that is in their best interest.
6. Maintain professionalism and strict confidentiality in all client interactions.
7. Collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to ensure the best outcome for our clients.
8. Stay updated on current legislation and legal developments that may impact our clients and their cases.
9. Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on commercial litigation matters.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
2. Active member of the Florida Bar.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial litigation.
4. Proven experience as an Associate Attorney, Trial Attorney, Staff Attorney, Judicial Law Clerk, or Law Clerk.
5. Proficiency in business litigation, complex litigation, civil litigation, and commercial litigation.
6. Exceptional skills in litigation, legal research, and legal writing.
7. Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful outcomes.
8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
9. Ability to handle high-stress situations and multiple cases simultaneously.
10. Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing time effectively.
11. High level of professional ethics and integrity.
