Qualifications:

• Active GaPSC SPED Consultative P-12 Teaching Endorsement required
• Experience with middle school or upper elementary special education students preferred
• Strong collaborative and communication skills for inclusion/co-teaching settings
• Commitment to full participation in pre-planning and training sessions

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction in co-taught and inclusive settings for 6th–8th grades
• Adapt math, ELA, and science curriculum to meet IEP goals and needs of students with Autism, OHI, SLD, MID, and EBD
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers and support staff
• Monitor, support, and document student progress – caseload approx. 10–12 students
• Implement and adhere to behavior plans as needed (no severe intervention or toileting/diapering)
