Qualifications:

• Active GaPSC SPED Consultative P-12 Teaching Endorsement required
• Previous co-teaching/inclusion experience preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Comfortable supporting students with Autism, OHI, SLD, MID, and EBD within an inclusion setting
• Willingness to engage in ongoing training (including pre-planning and SPED training)

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate in co-taught math/science or ELA/science classes for 6th-8th grade
• Support a caseload of approximately 10-12 students per grade level
• Help implement behavior plans and differentiated instruction
• Foster positive relationships with students transitioning into middle school
• Participate in pre-planning, SPED training, and ongoing professional development opportunities
