The Role at a glance:

We are seeking a skilled, motivated, and detail-oriented Catering Coordinator/Sales Administrator to join our Abigail Kirsch team in New York, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting daily office operations, managing a variety of administrative functions, and ensuring the smooth execution of sales-related activities. The position also provides direct administrative support to the Regional Director of Sales, helping to drive organizational efficiency and the overall success of the sales team.

We are located at 530 Seventh Avenue, New York, NY 10018 and require in person work Monday-Friday

Schedule: Monday – Friday 9am-5:30pm

What you'll be doing:

• Proposal Generation in Catering Software
• Inquiry Logging
• Bookings report
• Pace report
• A/R report
• Print BEOs via report
• Divvy receipt logging
• Party Rental payment logging
• Sales + operations support – menu signs, menu cards, proposals, menu lookbooks, printing, party folders
• Check deposits
• Office Supply Orders
• Work with Third Party Vendors for various event needs
• Assist Event Managers in responding to both client and internal stakeholders’ questions including logistics, rental equipment and party production.
• Assist Events Managers in planning, coordinating and executing events when needed.
• Perform and complete all reasonable assignments as requested by management.

Qualifications + Skills:

• Ability to communicate work related information to co-workers, supervisors, vendors, and clients. This includes written and verbal communication.
• Excellent computer skills necessary, including spreadsheets, Microsoft Office Suite, Canva
• Must be able stay organized, and keep others organized, including scheduling meetings and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
• Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Must have strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy on all assignments
• Able to work a flexible work schedule, with the ability to work in an environment with competing priorities
• Prior administrative or event experience.

Compensation Range

$31-$33 an hour.
