Registered Nurse - MS Tele

Location: Ottumwa, IA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for our Medical Surgical Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in a telemetry setting and be prepared to work collaboratively with our medical staff to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and interpret vital signs and telemetry data
• Administer medication and treatment as prescribed
• Document patient information accurately in EHR (MediTech)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families regarding health problems and care plans

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must possess a valid RN license in Iowa
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a telemetry setting
• BLS certification is required; ACLS is a plus
• Mandatory reporter certification (Child and Adult)
• Must pass a 10-panel drug screening
